Pipe relining on the North Shore
Pipe relining, without digging up the driveway
A new pipe formed inside the old one. The right answer when the line is cracked or root damaged but still holding its shape, and when what is above it is worth keeping.
- No trench through the drive or garden
- Camera before and after
- Usually one day on a house line
- Priced before we start
Before we line anything
We look inside the pipe first
How it works
- Camera and measure. We find the damage, its length and where it sits.
- Clean the line. Roots and scale cut back so the liner sits against the wall of the pipe.
- The liner goes in. A resin liner is pulled or inverted into place through an existing opening.
- It cures. The resin hardens into a new pipe inside the old one.
- Camera again. You see the finished line before we pack up.
When it is the wrong answer
We will tell you when relining is not right for your pipe. That is usually when:
- The pipe has collapsed, so there is nothing left to line.
- The fall is wrong and waste is sitting in a sag. A liner follows the same sag.
- The damage runs the length of the line, where replacing is better value.
In those cases we price excavation instead, and show you on the camera why.

Find out whether your line can be relined
It starts with a camera. Book a site visit and we will inspect the line, tell you whether relining suits it, and price both ways of fixing it.
No charge for the visit. You get the price before we start.
